It's been a really interesting F

Today has been quite a good day as days go. Got my entry in for the show at Perton. It was touch and go for a while, but I think things will be all right. Now, all I have to do is select the photographs I want to submit for the competition and then see whether they get graded, or whether they just get dumped in the trash. (I’m hoping not the trash!)

I have finally finished my Romance Novel! Not sure that it’s any good, but then I was never going to write a novel with a swooning heroine! To be quite honest it wasn’t the writing of it that was such a problem, it was more of the formatting of it for Amazon Kindle. While Amazon are really good about somewhere you can self publish – the formats they require for publication can be somewhat trying. I’m not even sure of the back cover blurb. Just let me write that damn novel – I don’t have to describe it. It’s basically a Romance Novel. You know; Boy meets Girl; Girl knows she loves Boy that due to circumstances, time, society, cannot tell him. (Pick any one of these, it’ll probably be accurate.) And maybe, maybe I have finished it rather quickly. But I’ve got them in the same place, short of throwing them together in the same bed and having them declare their undying love for one another, I couldn’t think of anything more to write. It’s not a Mills and Boon – that’s for certain. All I can do is my best – and I suppose that’s all anyone can do. Sorry this week’s entry is so short, I have been horrendously busy with my novel and with the poetry selection for the Perton Show, although that isn’t good reason, but it is quite late and I really want to get this week’s Blog in before tomorrow (if you know what I mean.) Hopefully the book should be up in the next few days and I am hoping – I’ve looked through the text a few times although I think I’ve gone a bit spelling and grammar blind, so apologies if there are any mistakes. At least now I can take a couple of weeks rest and maybe knit a teddy bear (or even another octopus.)
