An Exhausting Day.

I wouldn't mind - but my biological clock is all over the place. I feel pretty good at night, in fact I can do what I call 'all-nighters' and I feel great; but getting up in the morning is almost impossible. And sleeping all day isn't good for my metabolism either. If I sleep all day I only end up eating one meal. I want to be able to go to bed at a reasonable hour and wake up - not at half past four in the morning, but at half past seven. Then I can have breakfast and get up and watch the day unfold, or more likely in my case, fall asleep in front of the television. There don't seem to be any simple solutions. I have tried various herbs and infusions - the acupuncture is mainly to treat my balance problems, although she has tried to help with my itching. I call it my razor-blade itch which I itch so much that I could take a sharp implement like a razor blade and scratch until I bleed. (Which one has to admit, is not good.) I meant to write this Friday, but I'm sitting in front of the computer trying to wrack my brain for something resembling sense, which I have to admit rarely comes.

Went out today, mainly to look at church architecture and to try and find some lychgates, would you believe that we only found one? Lots of churches, a few small ones that seem very well attended - which is all to the good - but a distinct dearth of lychgates in any shape or form. Edwin thinks that we turned in the wrong direction and that's why we only found one. Still somewhat irritating though. I was looking forward to today. Oh well, there's always another week. I will try and write a better Blog this Friday.
form. Edwin thinks that we went the wrong way and should have gone
